Perform in The Day the Patriarchy Died –
The Day the Patriarchy Died will be a scratch script-in-hand performance curated and directed by Rebecca Manson Jones, an irreverent reflection on where we are and where we could be – on, as it now transpires, the day after the election. The performance is inspired by current events and the Old Coroner’s Court where it will be performed as part of the Brockley Max Festival.
If you are a locally-based performer and are available for a couple of hours on the evenings of 25th May & Wednesday 7th June and all of Friday 9th June to support the local community arts festival, please email to hallo@justjonestheatre.org.uk your professional CV or link by 15th May.
Just Jones & works with integrated and inclusive teams.
We are looking for up to 3 performers with a range of skills and aged 19 – 96 with a sense of fun, adventure and a big playing range.
Brockley Max is a festival largely surviving on volunteer time. JustJones& has received some funds through Brockley Max’s Crowd Fund appeal so there will be payment for the performance day.
“I don’t normally come to things like this but I’m glad I moved here now” audience comment on Brockley More by Just Jones & Ros Thomas Productions in 2014.
